Celestial Skies Above Husøya
I thought I would help switch it up. Before adding another photo of Ona in the Daylight I would upload one from the night, which I find much more exciting.
I love the stars, Milky Way and Northern Lights, reminds me the vastness of the universe and how small we are, and there is endless amount of exploration to do still.
This Shot is composed of 3 tiles and the bottom one is an HDR of 3 shots to recover the Highlights from this little town, which is often overlooked or bunched with the other island Ona.
This one is called however Husøya and doesn't have as nice of a lighthouse, but much bigger giving place for a school, docks, and a small farm not the mention that there are a lot more houses on this island.
however there is only 3 or 4 meters between the islands and Im almost sure that at low tide they are actually connected.
Ona is the "famous" one so few know the name of this one and refer to it as Ona as well.
On the right you see the vast open ocean and one the left you see the mountain above my hometown and the town of Brattvåg with the Nordøyene (which i love so much) in the center. I tried to capture this as soon as atmospheric dark approached so that I could get the details closest to the galactic center of the Milky way, that are visible from Norway at least. Soon I won't be able to see those details either.
Enjoy the night sky of this remote island and have a great weekend
and as always feel free to share! =D
